CommBank ParaRoos: Day 3 National Para Football Championships Wrap

Day three of the National Para Football Championships on the Gold Coast completed another set of actioned-packed games.

The first match of day four saw Football South Australia take on Capital Football. 

Charlize Tran scored Capital's first goal of the tournament with a powerful left footer from inside the box. 

Riley Stubing and Luc Launder led the tally for the South Australians with some brilliant shots.

Today's first semi-final derby has finished with FNSW Sky booking a spot in the final following a triumphant 5-0 win over NSW Navy. 

CommBank Pararoo of the Year Winner Daniel Campbell scored an early first goal, while teammate Jack Williams added a brace to his tally. World Cup youngsters Tim Blowes and Augustine Murphy also found the back of the net late in the second half to secure the win. 

Match three involved a fantastic semi-final between Victoria and Football West. 

National Para Football Championships


The Victorians started strong with CommBank Pararoo Joshua Beekes scoring a cracking goal in the first minute and following with two more in quick succession. 

But the West Australians were not giving up and soon enough, CommBank Pararoo Connor Bunce delivered with a stunning left boot into the back of the net. 

He followed up with another strike to give the West Australians some hope leading into the final few minutes.
