Finding the next Pararoo

Football NSW are on the lookout for Pararoos of the future with the association set to host a come and try day later this month.

Their ‘Finding the next Pararoo’ event will be held on Sunday 30 October at Valentine Sports Park and is for boys and girls aged 8-14 years with cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury or symptoms resulting in stroke.

The day is inclusive of all football skill levels from children who currently play to those who would like the opportunity to kick a ball around for the first time all invited to attend.

‘Finding the next Pararoo’ will be running on the final day of the 2016 National Paralympic 7-aside Football Championships, where the two best teams in the state will face off for the national title.

The Paralympic 7-a-side Football Championships run from 27th-30th October at Valentine Sports Parkand and are open to the public.
